RM Photographic

Redmonkey's photography school may be new, but already it is establishing itself as a great value for money alternative to the larger photography colleges in South Africa.

We've enrolled our spy's in various courses around Jo'burg. Courses that are currently charging R3,150 for a "5 week course" more like 5 lectures with little or no practical! That's like taking a painting course and never actually picking up a brush!!!

Well here is where we are ahead of the pack.

-Plenty practical, learn a skill - then practice it!
- More time efficient - You cover everything in the R3k course plus more!
- We run the Photography 101 (equivalent to FUNDAMENTALS) either over a weekend Sat 10:00 - 14:00 (2 x 4 hours = 8 Hours) or Monday to Thursday ( 2.5 hours x 4 = 10 hours)

You receive one of the latest eBooks on a disc to refer back to anytime.

And best of all.... the cost: R850.00

So sometimes cheaper is better - If you would like to pay for QUALITY - we are happy to accept R3k!

Our groups are limited to 10 people. We also train private groups if you prefer booking with your friends.

Our schedule of courses for the next few months is as follows:

February 20th / 21st (Sat/Sun) 10:00 - 14:00   FULL
March 13th/14th (Sat/Sun) 10:00 - 14:00  FULL
April 17th/18th (Sat/Sun) 10:00 - 14:00  FULL
May 8th/9th (Sat/Sun)  10:00 - 14:00  DELAYED UNTIL JUNE

Keep an eye out for our STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY package which includes a basic studio flash setup and course.

We will be hosting an Autumn trip to Clarens to capture the beautiful landscapes and the focus will be on filters and their dynamic effects ( free set of filters for the first 5 people to sign up!)

Here are some photos from one of our scouted locations in and around Jo'burg - contact us if you would like to join our next day trip here....

  1. Hi Redmonkey. I did your first course in Craighall. I recommend the 101 course to any first time photographer.
Looking forward to your advanced classes.

    Cheers - Gregg
